The application will support Microsoft Windows, Apple iOS, Linux and Android. But for development, Windows 10/11 is the easiest to support and deploy so Beta Testing will be on Windows.
The app should be able to be run on the simplest/oldest systems as there is not to many needs from the computer/cell phone requirements.
Firmware for the controller and the LED strips also needs to be updated. The controller is a heavier lift to get done but the LED strips will quick to update.
Biggest issue is the need to update the firmware “in the field”. It should be a rare occasion to need to update the firmware and I have setup the system to not need to do this going forward.
Below is a screen shot of the application as it is now. I have a few minor changes but should be okay for Proto B1. Help let me know if you think it should change.
This shows the three areas of the screen, Selection Group, the LEDs, and the Patterns.
When the app starts, just set the patterns (like to solid color) and click on any of the LEDs and the system should light up the LED instantly.
